Nine self catering holiday homes, with children's playground, furnished to a very high standard. Modelled on the traditional Irish village, overlooking River Robe, surrounded by mature trees in peaceful countryside on the edge of Ballinrobe Town. The Angling Capital of the West.
Each holiday home sleeps 7-8 persons, 4 bedrooms i.e. ground floor three bedrooms 1D, 2S, 1S and bathroom, first floor 3S ensuite (shower w.c., w.h.b), living room/dining room, open fireplace, microwave, electric cooker, refrigerator, washing machine, two bathrooms, electric central heating on coin meter. Payphone on site. Linen supplied. No Towels. Electricity on slot meter. Colour TV in each house. Open all year round. Cots on request. One house specially suited to disabled persons requirements. Babysitting available at extra cost.

Forest Walks and Mountain climbing available in Tourmakeady approx. 10-15 km. Swimming pool and horse-riding at Claremorris approx. 18 km. Pony trekking 6 km.

Lough Mask - world famous fishing lake - 1 kilometre, Lough Carra, Lough Corrib, Ashford Castle & Cong - only 20 minutes drive. Salmon, Sea Trout and Deep Sea Fishing all approx. 1 hours drive from Holiday Homes.
Ideal touring and walking location. Gateway to Connemara, Galway City, Westport House & Zoo, Knock Shrine & Airport, the Burren, Ceide Fields at North Mayo - all within easy driving distance. Daily boat trips to Aran Islands from Galway and also daily trips available in Cong on the Corrib Queen touring Lough Corrib.
Situated in an area rich in history and archaeology researched and documented, with many historical and archaeological sites for viewing. Booklets available for further details. The South Mayo Family Research Centre is located in Ballinrobe Town - a service to help people trace their family roots.
