The town of Killarney is probably one of the most popular spots on the Emerald Isle. It is well known for the “Killarney National Park” and to be the gateway to the fabulous “Ring of Kerry”. And with dining, entertainment and shopping options in abundance, I can really understand why this Kerry town is so popular. Really, Killarney is an absolute must-see and a great spot for a family holiday or an exciting weekend break.

Accommodation
There are countless accommodation options in and around Kerry. There is definitely something for every taste. If you prefer a quieter location, surrounded by nature, with a lot of space and freedom to do whatever you want, whenever you want, I suggest you should rent a holiday home. I can recommend Killarney Lakeland Cottages. This wonderful complex of self catering cottage holiday homes was built in the traditional Irish style and is situated just two and a half miles from Killarney Town. The holiday homes are close to Killarney Golf Club and Killarney National Park. The rates are quite cheap as well , especially when you are travelling with a large family or a couple of friends. Weekly cottage prices go from €235 (low-season) to €560 (high-season). Weekend and Midweek Breaks are available as well. For more information, check out this website
